Itinerary

Morning: Depart from Haridwar early (around 6 AM).

  • En route attractions:
    • Devprayag: The confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, which forms the holy Ganga.
    • Rudraprayag: The confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers.

Evening: Arrive at Sonprayag, check in to the hotel, and rest overnight.

  • Wake up early (around 4 AM), take a bath, and get refreshed.
  • Check out of the hotel by 5 AM and head towards Gaurikund, the starting point of the trek to Kedarnath Dham.
  • The trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath Dham is approximately 17 km and will take about 8 to 10 hours to complete.
  • Upon reaching Kedarnath, check in to the camps (basic accommodation), freshen up, and prepare for the day ahead.
  • Proceed for darshan at the sacred Kedarnath Temple.
  • Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the camps (self-arranged).
  • Early Morning: Attend the sacred Aarti at the Kedarnath Temple.
  • After breakfast, begin the trek back to Gaurikund .
  • Reach Sonprayag by evening and check in to the hotel.
  • Enjoy an overnight stay at the Sonprayag hotel.
  • After breakfast: Check out from the hotel and begin the journey back to Haridwar.
  • En route, visit the Dhari Devi Temple for a quick stop and darshan.
  • Continue the journey back to Haridwar.
  • 2-night accommodation in Sonprayag

How do I reach Kedarnath?
