Is the Pindari Glacier trek suitable for beginners?
Yes, this trek is perfect for first-timers with basic fitness. The trail has a gradual ascent, scenic terrain, and doesn’t involve technical climbing or extreme altitude.
What is the best time to do the Pindari Glacier trek?
The best time is from mid-April to June and September to early November. Avoid monsoon months (July–August) due to landslides and trail washouts.
How do we travel from Delhi to the trek base?
We provide a private Tempo Traveller or car from Delhi. All transfers from Delhi to Kathgodam, Bageshwar, Loharkhet, and back are included in the package.
Do we get mobile signals on the trek?
Network is generally available up to Bageshwar and Khati village. Beyond that, signals are unreliable. Inform loved ones before the trek begins.
What’s the maximum altitude we’ll reach?
The Pindari Glacier Zero Point is located at around 12,300 ft (3,750 m) above sea level.
How long is the trek in total?
The trek covers around 48–52 km round trip, depending on campsites and glacier time. It takes 5 trekking days from Loharkhet to Zero Point and back.
Will there be electricity or charging points during the trek?
Only hotels and guesthouses (like in Bageshwar or Loharkhet) have electricity. During the trek, there are no charging points, so bring a power bank.
What kind of accommodation will be provided?
We offer a mix of clean hotels/guesthouses and tented or homestay stays during the trek. All stays are on a twin/triple sharing basis.
