Andaman And Nicobar in Spring (March-June)

How To Reach Andaman And Nicobar


1). By Flight

Several major flights are available for many major cities of India such as Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Chennai from Veer Savarkar Airport in Port Blair. Port Blair from Chennai is only 21/2 hours traveled. Very soon a direct flight service from Mumbai to Port Blair will be made available.


2). By Road

You can not reach the Andaman Nicobar Island Road, but once you reach the Andaman Islands, you can swim through the entire Andaman Island ocean truck route. This route connects you with many cities and sea beaches like Port Blair Setu, Veer Savarkar Airport and Phoenix Bay Bridge.


3). By Train

There is no railway station there.

1). Havelock Island, Andaman And Nicobar

Tourists come here to enjoy boating at this place. The beach named Radhanagar is very picturesque, where the floating of the ocean's tidal waves can be enjoyed. For lodging in the night, it can also reserve a holiday home for Rs 200 to 300 in Port Blair.



2). Viper Island, Andaman And Nicobar

In 1967, the Boulders had come on the island from the wiper ship on this place, hence it is called the Viper Island. In this jail, 6-6 prisoners are tied up by the same clue. 6). Cellular Jail, Andaman And Nicobar

The national memorial of our country near the coast of Port Blair is Cellular Jail, which was brave enough to be made in 1896 in the reign of British and in 1906 it became ready. This seven-storeyed building is made of three storages. In this jail India's patriotic freedom fighter and revolutionaries were given unbearable torture. There are total 698 solitary cells in this jail hence the name has been kept in Cellular Jail. In this prison, the Kothari is made in this manner that while in prison, no prisoner can see another prisoner. Each building in this building has three storeys.
